Senior Researcher
Ph D in microbiology,
Education: 1988 -graduated from St. Petersburg University, Faculty of Biology and SoilScience; . Thesis:«Effect of different nitrogen and carbon sources on the physiological and biochemical properties of bacteria from genus Erwinia»
1991 –PhD in microbiology, ARRIAM Thesis: «Effect of different nitrogen and carbon sources on the metabolism of enterobacteria with different pathogenicity»
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Bacterial identification, including gene identification methods. Developing a new bio preparations to increase plant yield and to protect plants from different stress. Studying the ecological principles and patterns underlying healthy and durable farming systems, the mechanisms, causing beneficial effects of PGPB (Plant Growth Promotion Bacteria) on plants, especially under abiotic stress (HM heavy metals, pesticides, oil and other pollutants). Studying bacterial population dynamics, nutrient cycles, microbial ecology and biological suppression of root diseases. Working out the new complex microbial preparations and the new technologies, including combined application of different preparation.
PAST EMPLOYMENT
2009- 2020, Senior Researcher. Group of ecological microbiology, Agrophysical Research Institute.
Engineer, Researcher (1988 –2009) All-Russian Institute for Agricultural Microbiology (ARRIAM)
