The EKOS branch of the Federal State Budgetary Budgetary Institution ARRIAM is a specialized scientific and production site with many years of experience in the development, production and implementation of microbiological preparations for the modern agro—industrial complex.

The company was established in 1965 as an experimental production unit at the All-Union, and currently the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Microbiology. Initially, the key task of the Branch was the development of technologies for the industrial production of new microbial preparations created by scientists of the Institute, as well as the development of experimental batches for large-scale production tests.

Today, the EKOS Branch is a modern technology center that combines the scientific base of VNIISHM, production competencies and practical experience in implementing biological solutions in agriculture. The branch provides the production of a wide range of high-quality microbiological preparations for crop production, including inoculants for various types of legumes, growth-stimulating drugs, protective biologics and other solutions aimed at increasing the productivity of agricultural crops and biologization in the agricultural sector. The most well-known drugs include such as peat-based and liquid-based Risotorphin for soybeans, peas, chickpeas, lentils and other legumes, growth-stimulating drugs with fungicidal properties of the PHARMAT group: Flavobacterin, Mizorin, Risorin for cereals, vegetables and industrial crops.

An important advantage of the company is the opportunity to develop microbiological preparations on order at its own production facilities. This allows us to flexibly respond to the needs of customers, form specialized batches of biological products and accompany the implementation of scientific developments of the Institute in the practice of agricultural production.

The branch's specialists regularly participate in international and Russian scientific and practical agricultural events, specialized conferences, exhibitions, round tables and industry discussions, presenting practical results of the application of microbiological technologies in agriculture.

• production of industrial batches of inoculants, growth stimulants and protective preparations for crop production;
• production of batches of microbial preparations for individual customer tasks;
• diagnostics and quality control of microbiological products;
• scientific and production support for the organization of industrial production of microbiological products in the regions;
• development of practical recommendations on the use of microbiological preparations in crop production;
• implementation of comprehensive programs for bacterification of agricultural crops and nature-like technologies in agriculture;
• promotion of scientific innovations of VNIISHM in the agro-industrial complex.
