The Russian Academy of Sciences conducted an expedition to Elbrus dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory. The participants, including Anton Nizhnikov, Head of the ARRIAM laboratory, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, made an ascent to the highest peak of Russia and Europe, Elbrus (5642 m), on 08/15/25. The scientists also visited the memorable sites of the Battle for the Caucasus in the Elbrus region and honored the memory of the fallen soldiers.
