The conference "GMOs: history, achievements, social and environmental risks.

Dear colleagues, Congratulations to everyone on the start of the school year.

This year, as before, we will hold the conference "GMOs: history, achievements, social and environmental risks.
Earlier, the event was held with the support of NCMU. This year it was included in the university's calendar of events, but the issue of funding turned out to be more complicated. For this reason, the registration fee is expected to be paid for participation in the report this year.

The abstracts of this year's conference are expected to be issued in the form of an electronic publication WITHOUT indexing in Scopus.
In addition to the abstracts, the conference materials will be published in the journal Ecological Genetics in the form of short reports of up to 5 pages. The special edition will be released in the 1st quarter of next year. The language of the articles is English.
Payment for the review of manuscripts for the conference participants assumes a discount of 25 percent. This discount is combined with the discount for submitting the manuscript in English. The article submission procedure is standard.
The deadline for submitting manuscripts is November 1.
Since almost all of us use genetic engineering methods in our work, the opportunity to participate in an event and publish an article in Environmental Genetics should be well coordinated with the plans of scientific activity.
