ARRIAM staff, experts from the St. Petersburg Science Foundation and young researchers - potential grantees attended the Plenary Session of the II St. Petersburg Science Foundation Grantee Conference under the auspices of the Government of St. Petersburg, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
With the participation of V.A. Knyaginin, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, V.A. Knyaginin, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rector of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Academician A.I. Rudsky, Deputy General Director of the Russian Scientific Research Foundation Blinov, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Director of the Central Research Institute Electropribor, Chairman of the Expert Council of St. Petersburg-St. Petersburg Science Foundation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.G. Peshekhonov The issues of developing mechanisms to support scientific research and development, as well as the main areas of support for the implementation of the priority for the development of St. Petersburg until 2030, "Science and new Technologies", were discussed.
The key moment of the Plenary session was the report by Andrey Nikolaevich Blinov, in which he introduced those present to Presidential Decree No. 146 dated February 28, 2024 "On Strategic Goals and objectives for the development of the Russian Science Foundation for the period up to 2030." Igor Anatolyevich Tikhonovich, Scientific director of VNIISHM, who is chairman of the expert council of the St. Petersburg Scientific Foundation for Agricultural Sciences, in his speech emphasized the important role of using the genetic resources of microorganisms in the development of bioeconomics in our country.
