On November 3-7, Armasan dos Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, hosted the next international Prion 2025 conference dedicated to the study of functional and pathological amyloid proteins, as well as prions. An oral report by Mikhail Vladimirovich Belousov, an employee of the Laboratory of Proteomics of Supra-Organizational Systems, "Bacterial OMP amyloids act as themodulators of pathological aggregation" was presented at the conference. The presentation was devoted to the results of the work on the RNF grant 24-26-00124 (Amyloidogenesis of outer membrane proteins as a mechanism of interaction of pathogenic bacteria with the host), published this year in the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules.
