On May 28, 2026, Evgeny Andreevich Kirichek, an employee of the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biology, successfully defended his thesis "Symbiotic compatibility of Rhizobium laguerreae and seed pea (Pisum sativum L.) strains" at the S.N. Vinogradsky Institute of Microbiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The scientific supervisor is V.E. Tsyganov, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Budgetary Institution ARRIAM. The members of the dissertation council, led by N.V. Pimenov, noted the high level of research conducted and unanimously voted to award the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty "microbiology".
