In 2012, he graduated from St. Petersburg State University with a degree in Biology. In 2020, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty "Genetics". Since 2010, he has been working at FSBSI ARRIAM. The main area of work is the study of the specificity and effectiveness of legume–rhizobial symbiosis. He is the author of more than 50 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, including Plants, Agronomy, Frontiers in Plant Science. Head of grants from the Government of St. Petersburg and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The main performer of grants from the Russian National Science Foundation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and other scientific projects.
