Chebotar V.K. is a highly qualified specialist in the field of microbiology, mechanisms of plant-microbial interactions, technology for the creation of microbial preparations. He has developed technologies for the production and application of 10 microbial preparations and fertilizers for sustainable agriculture. It has been shown that the use of microbial preparations improves the use of mineral fertilizers and increases the productivity of crops. A collection of bacteria with beneficial properties for non-leguminous plants has been created, capable of colonizing plant organs and niches, capable of fixing molecular nitrogen, possessing biocontrol activity and stimulation of plant growth. He is the author of 5 monographs, 65 articles in leading Russian and foreign journals. He is the author of 14 Russian, 4 South Korean, 1 Japanese and 1 Ukrainian patents. He has repeatedly completed internships at Universities in Japan, the Netherlands and South Korea. He has repeatedly participated in Russian and international scientific symposia as an invited speaker. He was appointed Honorary Scientist by the Agricultural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea from 01.01.2007 to 12/31/2009 and Scientific Adviser on Green agricultural technologies of the Agricultural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea from 01.01.2010 to 12/31/2012. Winner of the Council of Ministers Award in Science and Technology 2022 in the field of science and technology for the development and introduction into production of new microbiological preparations for modern agriculture with minimal environmental risk, providing nutrition to plants and their protection from pests and pathogens. He was awarded diplomas of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences for the best completed scientific development in 2005,2007 and in 2011. He was awarded a diploma of the Russian Agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn” (Moscow) for the development of biopreparations of the Extrasol group.
