Research Engineer
Salnikova Elizaveta Artemovna graduated with honors from St. Petersburg State University with a bachelor's degree in Biology in 2023. Currently, he is a research engineer at the Signal Regulation Laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution ARRIAM and continues his studies at the Master's degree program of St. Petersburg State University in the field of Biology.
His research interests include the study of bacterial metallopeptidases, the interaction of rhizobial metallopeptidases with plant NCR peptides, and their effect on the effectiveness of nitrogen-fixing symbiosis. HrrP metallopeptidases in representatives of the genus Rhizobium are being investigated, and the search for NCR peptides of pea (Pisum sativum L.), important for establishing legume-rhizobial symbiosis, is being conducted.
In 2023, she made a presentation at the conference "Genomics, Metagenomics and Molecular Biology of Microorganisms" at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
