Pavlova Olga Andreevna defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in 2017. Currently, he is a researcher at the Signal Regulation Laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution ARRIAM.

His research interests include the study of the immunosuppressive properties of nodule bacteria signaling molecules during the development of legume-rhizobial symbiosis. Investigation of the role of bacterial effector molecules (DUFF 2169, DUFA 310) in suppressing protective reactions from pea plants by influencing the synthesis of the resistance protein KR1 (TIR-NBS-LRR). To study the role of type VI secretion (T6SS) of rhizobial microorganisms in the synthesis and delivery of effector molecules, as well as the influence of the latter on the effectiveness of symbiosis development.

In 2020, she participated in the European Biotechnology Congress (EUROBIOTECH 2020) as an invited speaker.
