He teaches lecture courses at the Departments of Agrochemistry and Soil Science of St. Petersburg State University: "Soil Biology (part "Microbiology")", "Ecological functions of soil biota in natural biocenosis and agrocenosis", "Soil mycology with the basics of phytopathology", "Methods of microbiological research in soil science and agrochemistry", "Enzymatic activity of soils".
Research interests: ecology of phytopathogenic fungi, plant defense mechanisms against phytopathogens, response of soil microbiomes to the environmental conditions and anthropogenic impacts.
