She graduated from the bachelor's degree at the K.A. Timiryazev Russian State Agricultural Academy of Agriculture in the field of Agricultural Microbiology, a master's degree at St. Petersburg State University in the field of Molecular Biology and Agrobiotechnology of Plants, and completed professional retraining at the Institute of Bioinformatics in the field of Bioinformatics for Biologists.
Research interests: legume-rhizobia symbiosis, bioinformatics, molecular microbiology, taxonomy and evolution of symbiotic bacteria.
