The annual agricultural exhibition "All-Russian Field Day" was held in the Stavropol Territory from June 20 to 22, 2024. This is the largest domestic open-air exhibition, where farmers from all regions of the country, as well as from far and near abroad, can get acquainted with the latest achievements of domestic science in the field of agrotechnology, breeding and land use.
The main event of the business program of the All-Russian Field Day this year was the plenary meeting on food security chaired by the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Oksana Lut. The head of the department noted the need to strengthen the country's technological sovereignty, primarily in the field of breeding and genetics, plant protection products and biotechnologies.
An important task is to reduce the use of agrochemicals without reducing yields, which is directly facilitated by agrobiotechnology for crop production.
Employees of the Institute and our production division, the Ekos Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution ARRIAM, took an active part in the exhibition events. Interest in biotechnologies is constantly growing, and many agricultural producers have had a good opportunity to learn about the latest developments of our institute in the field of agricultural microbiology and get acquainted with biological products for crop production.
Following the results of the work, ARRIAM was awarded a Diploma for participation in the exhibition.
