The Organizing Committee invites you to take part in the international scientific and practical conference "Scientific foundations for improving the food security of the agro-industrial complex of the regions", which will be held on April 18-19, 2024 at the Sakhalin Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Research Center All–Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources named after N.I. Vavilov" (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk).

Researchers, postgraduates, representatives of agricultural management bodies, agronomists and farm managers are invited to participate in the conference.

The main directions of the conference:

Crop production.
Breeding and seed production.
Biotechnology in agriculture.
Genetics and breeding.
Plant protection.
Agriculture.
Animal husbandry.

Form of participation:

Face-to-face (with an oral report).
Remote (with an online report).
The scientific program of the conference will be compiled according to the announced reports of the participants. To participate in the conference, it is necessary to send an application form and abstracts of the report in accordance with the rules of registration of materials (Appendix 1, 2) to the address by April 10, 2024: sakhnii_sakhalin@mail.ru with an indication in the subject line of the letter "Conference – Sakhalin 2024".

Following the results of the presentations in the IV quarter of 2024, abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.

After completing the collection of application forms and abstracts, a second information letter and the Conference Program will be sent to all participants. Travel, accommodation and meals at the expense of the participants of the conference.
