The IV International Scientific Conference "Plants and Microorganisms: Biotechnology of the future" PLAMIC2024 and within its framework the III All-Russian conference with international participation "Mechanisms of adaptation of microorganisms to various environmental conditions" were held in Baikalsk on the shore of Lake Baikal from September 15 to 22, 2024 on the basis of the Sobolinaya Mountain ski resort.

4 scientific sections were held within the framework of the conference:

1. Genetics, physiology and biotechnology of plants.

2. Genetics, physiology and biotechnology of microorganisms.

3. Plant-microbial systems.

4. III All-Russian conference with international participation "Mechanisms of adaptation of microorganisms to various environmental conditions".

Subsections

4.1. Mechanisms of adaptation of microorganisms to environmental factors.
4.2. Adaptation of microorganisms to the living conditions in the host organism (animal, human).
4.3. Biofilm formation as one of the forms of adaptation of microorganisms.

Gorshkov ("COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF PESTICIDES ON THE STRUCTURE OF PEA NODULES"), V.N. S. A.P. The presented reports aroused great interest among colleagues and confirmed the high scientific level of research conducted at ARRIAM, which allows ARRIAM to remain the undisputed leader in Russia in the field of research on plant-microbial interactions.

The results presented in the conference reports are planned to be published in various scientific journals, including the journal Microbiology.

The next PLAMIC2026 conference will be held in Kazan.
