Conference "Experimental Plant Biology and Climate Challenges"

On October 3-8, 2024, a scientific conference "Experimental Plant Biology and Climatic Challenges" was held in Yekaterinburg as part of the Annual Meeting of the Society of Plant Physiologists of Russia.

The work of the conference was conducted in 4 directions:
1. Photosynthesis and sequestration of carbon by plants: molecular and ecosystem mechanisms
2. The production process of plants and the factors of its limitation in natural conditions and agrophytocenoses. Remote methods of productivity assessment and correction.
3. Plants in a changing environment and climate.
4. Phytobiotechnology: a response to global challenges.
The plenary report "The role of the tubulin cytoskeleton in the development of symbiotic nodules of legumes" was delivered by the Director of ARRIAM V.E. Tsyganov.

The next annual meeting will be held in June 2025 in Yakutsk.
